I’m getting the biggest paycheck I’ve ever had tomorrow; and sadly enough, it’s already spent: groceries, books, bills, bowling, and new running shoes. Maybe I’ll have enough to go out this weekend, we’ll see. I don’t even get Labor Day weekend off, Taylor had to use me as a last resort because I said I would. She told me to hang in there for a couple more weeks, considering I’m scheduled to work every day, until these new people get fully trained.

Classes are at the “meh” level right about now. Looking over the syllabi concludes that I will be experiencing hell the last half of the semester due to lengthy papers and presentations. For my bio stats class, I have to do an experiment and collect data. I haven’t really thought about what to do. I was thinking about comparing the length of people’s middle finger to their height…but there is still time, so no worries yet.

Family gathering, Las Vegas, and the wedding were all rather enjoyable. I thought I was going to die flying, especially since it was my first time ever in an aircraft. The landing was a little rocky at the airport in Nevada, thought I was going to spill some beans. However, the flight back to Michigan was rather smooth, and it didn’t bother me at all. I might post some pictures on this, but it’s so much easier to make an album on facebook.

This morning Jeff and I walked downtown to fetch Jeff’s car. On the way I decided to buy my books for the semester. I can already tell which two classes are going to put the non-existent balls I have in a vice: BIO 500 ~Biological Statistics and HST 326~Women in America. During the semester it might flip-flop and the other two will have me deadlocked on total mass destruction. We shall see.

I’m getting about 40 hours this week, ‘cause someone got fired. Sad about the loss, excited about the hours + puppies.
